Senior Daycare and Community Facility in Surabaya is a senior daycare facility that focuses on its user (senior) needs. This facility has many classes, resting places, and community places that are specifically provided for seniors. This facility was designed with the hope that seniors can socialize with other people of similar ages, not lonely, and feel useful.

This design thinking based on seniors’ behavior to find the most ideal design for seniors. From observation and research, the designer can find boundaries and solutions that can be applied architecturally. Then, the writer applies those in architectural elements, such as mass composition, room characteristics, colors, materials, surface articulation, air circulation system, etc.
